1. These Terms and Conditions, including the Competition Details Schedule ("the Schedule"), apply to the competition described in Item 1 of the Schedule ("the Competition"). By submitting an entry into the Competition you agree that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. The Competition is being promoted by the Promoter.
3. This Competition is conducted under NSW Authority No. TP/05281, South Australian Permit No. T26/1371 and ACT Permit No. TP 26/01770. COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
4. An entry is not valid if:
   1. the entry is contrary to these Terms and Conditions;
   2. the entry is incomplete; or
   3. the Entrant is ineligible to participate (see clauses 8 and 9).
5. The Promoter can decide that an entry is invalid if the Entrant submits an entry that is ineligible, incomplete or not in accordance with these terms and conditions. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion.
6. Only one (1) entry from an eligible Entrant will be accepted for the Competition during the Competition Period.
7. The Promoter may vary or waive the Terms and Conditions or terminate this Competition at any time at its absolute discretion without liability to any Entrant or any other person, subject to approval from the relevant authorities.

Who can enter (Eligibility)

8. Entrants must meet the criteria in Item 2.
9. You cannot enter if you are an employee of the Promoter, a contractor, or a company providing goods or services to the Promoter related to this Competition.

How to enter

10. To enter the Competition, the Entrant must comply with Item 3 of the Schedule. One eligible entry per person will be accepted for the Competition during the Competition Period.
11. The Competition will commence on the Competition Start Date and end on the Competition End Date described in Item 4 of the Schedule.
12. All prize values are in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST and are correct at the time of printing.

Winners and Prizes

13. The Competition has a Daily Prize Draw, a Minor Prize and one Grand Prize Draw. The Competition is a game of chance (not a game of skill).
14. All winners of the Daily Prize Draw, Minor Prize Draw and the Grand Prize Draw are drawn at random from eligible entries for the relevant draw.
15. Daily Prize winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period at 24-26 Salisbury Rd, Asquith, NSW, 2077 by the Promoter using a Government approved compliant computerised random draw system (randomdraws.com.au) at 9:00 AM (Sydney time) on each Business Day with the first draw on 3 October 2026 and the final draw on 13 November 2026 during the Competition Period. There is a total of 42 daily draws with three winners drawn daily. The three prizes awarded at each daily draw is 1 x Osprey Daylite Plus backpack, 1 x Osprey Ultralight Stuff Sack and 1 x Osprey Hat. Each Daily Prize winner will remain eligible for the Runner Up Prize and Grand Prize, and will be included in the Grand Prize draw. If a day during the Competition Period is not a Business Day (including weekends and public holidays), the Promoter will conduct a separate Daily Prize draw on the next Business Day for each such day.
16. A random draw will occur in the presence of an independent scrutineer at 3:00 PM AEDT on 13 November 2026 at Level 13, 477 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000. The Grand Prize winner and then ten (10) Runner Up Prize winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period by the Promoter using a computerised random draw system
17. The Grand Prize winner will be drawn first at random from all eligible entries received during the Competition Period by the Promoter using a computerised random draw system and ten (10) Runner Up Prize winners will be drawn in accordance with clause 16.
18. The Daily Prize, Runner Up Prize and the Grand Prize draw will be witnessed and verified by an independent scrutineer. The scrutineer will observe the conduct of each draw and confirm that it has been carried out in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable permit requirements.
19. All decisions of the Promoter (including its staff) are final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into. The independent scrutineer will witness and verify the conduct of the draws but does not participate in or make any decisions regarding the Competition.
20. The Promoter will contact each winner of the Daily Prize (42 in total), the Runner Up Prize (ten (10) in total) and the winner of the Grand Prize within 2 business days of the relevant draw being conducted and the winner being determined (“Notification Email”). The Promoter will contact each winner by email using the contact details as provided at the time of the entry. It is the Entrant’s responsibility to provide the correct details at the time of submitting its entry to the Competition, and for checking its email for notifications from the Promoter.
21. If the Promoter sends the Email Notification to a winner of the Daily Prize, the Runner Up Prize or Grand Prize and receives a delivery-failure notification (including but not limited to undeliverable messages), and if that provisional winner does not claim the prize within the claim period then that Entrant will be deemed ineligible to be awarded the prize. The Promoter will then conduct a redraw for the prize in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
22. The Promoter will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS or sustained in connection with the Prize except for any liability, which cannot be excluded by law.
23. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate, or incomplete information communicated in connection with this Competition, nor for any technical errors, failures, or malfunctions (including telecommunications or internet issues) that may prevent an entry from being received.

Daily Prize

24. All Daily Prizes will be selected by the Promoter at random and preferences cannot be accommodated.
25. The winner of a Daily Prize must claim their prize by sending an email to the Promoter in accordance with the instructions set out in the Notification Email from the Promoter within fourteen (14) days of being notified that they are a winner. The winner of the Daily Prize will also be asked to provide their Australian residential address for delivery of the prize.
26. If the winner of the Daily Prize does not email the Promoter or provide the Promoter with their Australian residential address within fourteen (14) days the Notification Email, then the Promoter reserves its rights to conduct a redraw for that prize.
27. Winners of any redraw are subject to the same Terms and Conditions, including the requirement to email the Promoter within fourteen (14) days.
28. The Promoter is not responsible or liable to the winner of the Daily Prize in any way including incorrect details being submitted for the entry which is relied upon by the Promoter for the purposes of contacting the winner, and lost, delayed or damaged prizes during delivery or collection.

Runner up prizes

29. The ten (10) winners of the Runner Up Prize must claim their prize by sending an email to the Promoter in accordance with the instructions set out in the Notification Email from the Promoter within fourteen (14) days of being notified that they are a winner.
30. If the winner of the Runner Up Prize does not email the Promoter or provide the Promoter with their Australian residential address within fourteen (14) days of the Notification Email, then the Promoter reserves its rights to conduct a redraw for that prize.
31. Winners of any redraw are subject to the same Terms and Conditions, including the requirement to email the Promoter within fourteen (14) days.
32. The Promoter is not responsible or liable to the winner of the Runner Up Prize in any way including incorrect details being submitted for the entry which is relied upon by the Promoter for the purposes of contacting the winner, and lost, delayed or damaged prizes during delivery or collection.
33. Each winner of the Runner Up Prize will receive a credit voucher to the value of $1,000 to be used on any Osprey product and can only be redeemed:
    1. in-store at the Participating Retailer where the Entrant made the initial purchase that qualified them to enter this competition, or online via that Participating Retailer’s website (if online redemption is permitted by that Participating Retailer); or
    2. online at: ospreyaustralia.com.au. The credit voucher issued under this clause may only be applied against the full recommended retail price (RRP) of eligible products. If a product is discounted or on promotion at the time of redemption, the voucher will be applied to the product’s RRP (pre-discount price).
34. The Promoter will determine whether the credit voucher must be redeemed through the Participating Retailer or online at ospreyaustralia.com.au. The Entrant has no ability to choose or influence this determination.
35. Each credit voucher can only be used to purchase Osprey products and must be redeemed in one transaction. Any unused portion of the credit voucher will be forfeited.
36. The credit voucher is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
37. The credit voucher is subject to the separate credit voucher terms issued by either the Promoter or the Participating Retailer (as applicable), including any redemption conditions, exclusions, or limitations stated on the credit voucher. Those credit voucher terms apply in addition to, and prevail over, these Terms and Conditions to the extent of any inconsistency.
38. If the credit voucher is issued by a Participating Retailer, once the credit voucher has been issued and sent to the winner of the Runner Up Prize then the Promoter’s obligation in relation to that Runner Up Prize are fully satisfied. The winner of the Runner Up Prize has no recourse against the Promoter in relation to, the use, redemption, acceptance, availability, or terms of the credit voucher.
39. All purchases made using the credit voucher:
    1. through the Participating Retailer, are subject to the terms and conditions of that Participating Retailer (including any shipping terms); and
    2. online from ospreyaustralia.com.au are subject to the same terms and conditions that apply to standard online purchases from Osprey Australia, including the Terms of Service available at https://ospreyaustralia.com.au/policies/terms-ofservice.

Grand Prize

40. The winner of a Grand Prize must claim their prize by replying to the Notification Email sent by the Promoter within thirty (30) days of being notified that they are a winner. The winner may also be asked to contact third parties engaged by the Promoter to make the bookings associated with the Grand Prize including travel agents, Tasmanian Walking Company Pty Limited and other providers required to deliver the Grand Prize. All bookings must be made and travel completed within twenty-four (24) months of the Notification Email.
41. If the winner of the Grand Prize does not respond to the Notification Email within thirty (30) days of being notified that they are a winner, the Promoter reserves its rights to conduct a redraw for that Grand Prize.
42. The winner of any redraw of the Grand Prize are subject to the same Terms and Conditions, including the requirement to email the Promoter within thirty (30) days.
43. The Grand Prize is subject to booking, pricing, flight availability, accommodation availability, and any travel restrictions applicable at the time of booking. All flights, routes, carriers, accommodation, and travel arrangements will be booked at the sole discretion of the Promoter. The Grand Prize winner has no ability to choose, request, influence, or vary any travel arrangements.
44. The Promoter may nominate specific dates on which travel is not permitted (“blockout periods”), and the Grand Prize winner must travel only on dates approved by the Promoter.
45. The winner of the Grand Prize must depart from and return to the same departure point (which must be a capital city airport) and travel together on the same itinerary.
46. Air tickets forming part of the Grand Prize are economy-class tickets on the regular scheduled services of the relevant airline(s) and are subject to any seasonal embargoes, blackout periods, capacity restrictions, or operational limitations imposed by the airline. The Promoter has the right to determine the airline carrier at its discretion.
47. Spending money, meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from the departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included in the Grand Prize unless expressly stated otherwise. All other expenses related to the Grand Prize are the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner.
48. Travel insurance is not included in the Grand Prize. It is the sole responsibility of the Entrant and any person participating in any aspect of the Grand Prize to obtain their own travel insurance at their own cost, including cover for medical expenses, cancellations, delays, personal injury, and participation in the Three Capes Signature Walk Track experience or any other activity forming part of the Grand Prize. The Promoter is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, cost, or claim arising from the Prize Winner’s failure to obtain appropriate travel insurance.
49. The Promoter makes no representation regarding the Three Capes Signature Walk or the destination in which it occurs, including any safety conditions, travel restrictions, warnings,  bans, environmental factors, or other issues that may exist at that location.
50. In the event a prize is not claimed then an unclaimed prize draw will occur in the presence of an independent scrutineer (if required) on 21 December 2026 at 11:00 AM AEDT at Level 13, 477 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000. The unclaimed prize winner will be notified in writing via email within 2 days of the draw and winners of the unclaimed prize or prizes will be published (winner(s) initial of their first name, last name and postcode) within 7 days of the draw at https://ospreyaustralia.com.au, on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/ospreyaustralia and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/OspreyPacksAustralia. For Northern Territory only, the name of the winner of the Grand Prize will be published in the local or national newspaper.

Prizes presented as is

51. You must accept the prize exactly as it is offered by the Promoter and you cannot transfer it to someone else. Prizes are subject to availability. If any prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value. No cash alternative to prizes will be offered.
52. By entering into this Competition, you agree, acknowledge and confirm that you are able to travel to Tasmania and are physically capable of participating in the Three Capes Signature Walk Track experience included in the Prize. Entrants understand that the activity involves physical exertion and may carry inherent risks.
53. By entering into this Competition, you also agree that the Promoter is not liable for any death, injury, illness, contraction, aggravation, recurrence or acceleration of any injury or disease suffered by any person who accepts or participates in any aspect of the Grand Prize.
54. All components of the Grand Prize are supplied and operated by independent third-party service providers. Each operator is solely responsible for the provision, quality, safety, and performance of the services they deliver, including but not limited to flights, accommodation, transport, and the Three Capes Signature Walk Track experience. The Promoter does not operate, control, supervise, or provide any part of the Grand Prize and accepts no liability for the acts, omissions, conduct, or service failures of any operator.
55. The Promoter’s sole liability in connection with the Grand Prize is limited to paying the relevant third-party service providers for the components of the prizes as described in these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter does not provide, operate, supervise, or control any part of the prizes and is not liable for the acts, omissions, conduct, or service delivery of any third-party operator or supplier.
56. The Grand Prize is subject to the additional terms and conditions of the Promoter and all relevant third-party suppliers, including (without limitation) conditions of carriage, activity waivers, operator terms, and any conditions or additional charges applicable to optional or included activities. The Grand Prize Winner and their guest(s) must enter into all required contracts, waivers, releases, and paperwork directly with the Promoter and the relevant suppliers as those suppliers may require.
57. Any changes to bookings forming part of the Grand Prize are solely at the discretion of the operator of the relevant service. If any booking is cancelled, amended, or otherwise modified by the operator or the winner of the Grand Prize, any associated fees, charges, or costs will be the responsibility of the winner of the Grand Prize and will not be paid or reimbursed by the Promoter.
58. If the winner of the Grand Prize is unable or unwilling to travel or participate in any component of the Grand Prize, the Promoter is not obliged to modify, substitute, or compensate the Prize or any part of it.
59. If, for any reason, the winner of the Grand Prize does not take the Grand Prize (or any element of it) after it has been booked for the date and time stipulated, that prize (or element) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.

Publication of the winners

60. Entrants agree that the Promoter can publish the winners of the Runner Up Prize and the winner of the Grand Prize (including last name, first initial and postcode) on https://ospreyaustralia.com.au, on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/ospreyaustralia and on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/OspreyPacksAustralia, within 7 days of the draw and will remain published for at least 28 days of the Runner Up/Grand Prize draw.
61. For Northern Territory only, the name of the winner of the Grand Prize will be published in the local or national newspaper.

Promotion and Collection of Personal Information

62. The Promoter will collect the personal information of Entrants for the purposes of administering and promoting this Competition and contacting the Prize winners, and not for any marketing purpose.
63. Entrants agree that the Promoter may handle their personal information in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, available at https://ospreyaustralia.com.au/policies/privacypolicy. If an Entrant does not truthfully provide all requested personal information, the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to claim the relevant Prize.
64. Entrants consent to the Promoter disclosing their personal information, to the extent necessary, to third-party operators and suppliers responsible for providing services that form part of the Grand Prize.
65. The Promoter will retain all records relating to the Promotion, including personal information of Entrants for the period required under applicable State and Territory laws, and for any longer period necessary for compliance, audit, or legal purposes. All records will be securely stored and destroyed thereafter.
66. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta. Entrants provide their information to the Promoter and not to Meta.
67. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws the State or Territory in which the Entrant ordinarily resides.
